darkened levels a bit for detail, used a slight radial blur in photoshop becasue the rose was in focus as well, too distracting

I love the subtlety here and the understated hues. Bumping up.

Beautiful colors, but it seems that the rose and the lily are competing for the attention since they both take up that same amount of space in the frame, might have been nice if both were in focus.

I hate criticizing anyones work and admire anyone who just loves to be behind the lens and shoots away at almost any subject, but since you have posted this to be rated, I'd like to explain why I feel it is not a great shot. First, your subject (cala, I assume from title) is not really recognizable. It is cropped off at top and bottom, and very blurry. Second, the bright spot at top left corner is distracting, as is the dark form on bottom right. The category is "backlighting" but in this case the actual light source is overpowering. Try to get a better focus on the subject, and often it helps to put the subject off center, instead of dead center. Please keep shooting and posting...Best regards

Despite the color and glow of this picture, I find it hard to pick out a central object - the cala is not in focus, and the backlighiting is so extreem you've lost a lot of detail. The rose is not in focus either. You've pushed the yellow so far you've gotten some odd artifacts in the center of the cala.

out of focus

This is hard to make out because it is so blurry.

wow, is that ever overexposed. kind of a fun shot though. i really like the rose on the left. the right side is a bit dark and abstract for me. interesting feel, though.

It's hard to see what's in focus here - the out of focus parts of the flower in the foreground are distracting.

Poor focus. Should have scored better.

I love how close this gets to pure abstraction.

not in focus

No point of focus. Seems like either it was a mistake, or too obvious of an atempt at being "artsy". I hope that criticism isn't too harsh... I do like the soft look of the flowers, just wish something was in focus/not blurry
