| backlighting has no purpose in this one i think, and slightly out of focus |

| Nice balance front and backlighting. Too bad about the focus-miss evident from the sharp carpet in the upper left corner background. My guess is that you were too close for minimum focus of your camera/lens, just back up to minimum focus distance and crop in software. |

| The subject doesn't appear to be in focus - almost appears that the carpet in the background is in focus instead. |
