 This Cheesecake was delicious here is the recipe

Cool and Creamy Cheesecake

Crust:
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margerine, melted

Filling:
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup cold water
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 cup whipping cream, whipped

Crust:
Mix crumbs, sugar, and butter; press into bottom of a 9-inch
springform pan.

Filling:
Soften gelatin in water, stir over low heat until disolved.
Beat cream cheese and sugar at medium speed with electric
mixer until blended.
Gradually add gelatin, milk, and juice.
Refreigerate until slightly thickened.
Fold in whipped cream.
Pour over crust.
Refrigerate until firm.
(If desired, top with fruit just before serving.)

Looks like a great cheesecake. Would like to see more of it and less of the backround. The backroung is to distracting.

Cheesecake looks awesome. The background and countertop detract a bit from the subject. The busy-ness is distracting. I think a solid or more 'out of focus' background would help.

Hmmm, I love cheesecake (unless it's grapefruit cheesecake). But I'm not sure about the point of view - it almost looks like it's on the floor.

Too much going on in the background

Nothing overexposed, has good detail in the focused area and the shallow DOF is good. Looks like there may be a tiny hair at the top of the cheesecake that should have been removed. Some viewers will be confused about the shot takn from floor level and that the background, which takes up pleanty of real estate, seems unrelated to the cake.

It's a strange choice of framing; the subject looks more like mouse-bait, than cheese-cake. The background, also, could have been thrown more out of focus.

The cheesecake looks good but doesn't get the immediate attention which is drawn to the OOF background. Change the crop to have less background and add a strawberry or something to make the picture pop.

That looks like some real tasty cheesecake. I feel the background is a bit distracting though. That big white blob with 6 dark spots draws more attention than the cheesecake. I like the depth of field, but the background should have ingredients or pots and pans used to make the cheesecake.

The thing about food pictures is that the food has to, 95% of the time, look good to eat. In this image, I think you failed that. The composition and depth of field are excellent, but the cheesecake itself is rather odd and unappetizing. I think the problem lies with the color balance or maybe the lighting. The technical aspects of this are good, I just can't imagine myself eating this particular peice of cheesecake. 5 - good luck in the challenge!

at first I thought your cake was on the floor. Now I figure it's on the counter. It kind of suggests a story without providing enough of one.

It looks to me like the cheesecake is on the floor (and it might be on a countertop but it's hard to tell). I would prefer if you focused more on the cake and didn't have such a huge area in your photo out of focus and not important to the subject.

I like the cheesecake (more would be good). I like the out-of-focus kitchen, but the window destroys the image.
