 Photo taken at the local firehouse. Halogen light behind the firefighter in turnout gear. Low power flash from the Hotshoe flash. I never could get the exposure just right, shot in raw, adjusted exposure. Cropped, rotated to straighten horizon, remove color, sharpened, neat image to try and remove noise. I know its noisy still, but I like to think of this as my great concept that I failed miserably at. But I'm sticking it in here to see how it does. Special thanks to Dennis who was my subject and the Fire dept for letting me take up some of their time for my attempt.

Very nice, love the use of light and shadow, the reflector strips really accentuate the picture. Very strong picture.

This is a cool shot, but he was flashed from the front and this challenge isnt front lighting.
