I'm guessing that this is supposed to be out of focus to add to the effect? Other than that the shot isn't very creative. Maybe you had too many to drink! Alcohol kills brain cells.

contrast is to high and I dont think poorly focused shots will ever do well on DPC, sorry.

I don't think the blur is working to your advantage in this picture. You lose sense of what the subject is.

i personally, like, sharp, crisp photos, and i do not think this photo can stand alone. however, if it is to e used as part of a bigger project, with some narration around it, or an illustration for a short story, or a question, or a subject for a story or essay, then i think this is a terrific photo, and would also have worked well in the unanswered question challenge.
