I like how you chose to go a different direction from the "typical" idea of A Night on the Town. Just my humble little opinion (I like the shot a lot) but I think it would have been even more effective if she was in black shoes (maybe heels). The white sandals are a little too bright for the mood you have going here.

heartbroken girlfriend or a lonesome prostitude?

like this one, but could be sharper

A poignant shot. A shame about the background... the pole growing out of her back is distracting and the items in front of the fence to the left of her are very noisy and don't look so great. A sharper focus on the subject would have helped... a side effect is that the bench would be in sharp focus as well. A nice concept for this challenge. 8

Background at the left and the expanse of footpath are distracting, but a good idea for the theme.

nice idea but there are too many distractions and I think if you could get some long shadows it would capture the mood better a 6

I really like this image, very strong emotion mixed with an excellent title. I immediately feel bad for her and want to go cheer her up. Good choice with the black and white to really adds to the whole scene. I gave it an 8
