Can't understand why it came 70th. I gave this a 9. I loved this shot.....actually thought it was better than mine.

I agree with peggy, very artistic. Looks like a painting.

From the looks of the objects that should be stationary, this was taken without a tripod. The blur effect of the people is very nice, however the objects that are stationary should look that way

IMO if you had used a tripod it would have made this picture just super. The lighting and composition, and movement of people is great, just don't like the shake. 5

nice job. i like the bustling feel caused by the moving people and the b/w works really well. good angle. i love how that one tree arches.

Well, I know what you were going for in this and I applaud the attempt. Unfortunatly, you have one man standing still and it kind of ruins the effect of the other people. I do like the lighting in this.

difficult to get a shot like this...and is cool how you got the movement you did, a bit of camera shake took the sidewalk and the building out of focus but I still Like:) 8

The trouble with this technique of capturing the people in motion is that stationary things like the tree and the building are also out of focus. The result is, instead of a really unique shot of this street corner, I see a something that looks like the camera was dropped as the picture was being taken. It's a little hard on the eyes I'm afraid.

This would be great without the tree.

the only problem with this photo was that nothing was really the focal point, making the shot look too busy
