 I have changed the title from "Prairie Dog" to "Fred" since people keep giving me conflicting information.
So until I know for sure what family he belongs to, I'll just call him Fred.

Logan Pass looked like a scene from a Disney movie.... glorious sunshine, a meadow full of wild flowers and various creatures, several mountain goats in the cliff just behind the meadow.
And lots of Freds. These little guys weren't the least bit worried about all the people. Some came right up to us, obviously looking for food. Very cute!

Nice background , that 75 300 mm lens can be real sweet in the right light can't it? Fred is nice and sharp. Cool capture
