 Lara is my friend's (Cláudia and Zé)pet. Unintentionally, I used the flash, and the red eyes effect gave this ball of fire appearance which striked me by its beauty. It looks like a picture of the sun taken from the outer space. I am amazed with my camera resolution, because this picture was taken from quite a long distance, and you can perfectly see the retina and its vessels. As a doctor I can assure you that she doesn´t have cataracts...

Interesting perspective on the cat. It doesn't jump out at me, I wonder if that would change seeing more of its head. I thought red eye on cats was green, interesting affect.

Wow, the eyes are scary, this is the first photo where you actually WANT redeye, not bad(even though there not round)

It's a good shot but i think the border will hurt you with voters in this site (not me though as i am a bit of a border freak). The border is a tad big compared to the image. I would go about a 5 pixel white inner and a 10 to 12 pixel black outer. Give it a try and see how it looks. I used to do 30 pixel black borders but have cut down and like it much better.
