Absolutely Nothing...unless of course you're a pillow! It's a poor attempt at abstract and not well received by challenge members in general. |

Sorry tinmason, it's a 'tough crowd', eh? I think the proper response to this photo was supposed to be:
"Those aren't pillows!!"

HUH? How does this connect to the challenge? Am I supposed to be interpreting the painting with the three figures as a crowd? The furniture? Is the pillow the subject? THe woman? I'm failing to see a focal point in this jumble. I don't even get much of a sense of minimal depth of field. I don't even understand the sentiment of the title. I've never seen a pillow as an object of abuse. |

I can see that the pillow is the center of an interesting composition but the table, being the whitest/brightest thing in the image, fights it for attention. Good image but not sure of its placement in this challenge. |

It terrible when you have to mark down a well compose and colourful picture because there is no crowd and no singling-out (single-outing?) |

No crowds depicted here to be singled-out from by minimal depth of field. |

Not quite sure how this relates to the challenge...the colors are clean and simple but the bright spot on the right is kind of distracting. Overall, not really that appealing to me...seems really static and lacks a central point of interest (I assume the focus is on the pillow in the center, but nothing really leads the viewer to examine it too closely). |

Great butt theme you have going on here. Even the table is in on it. I must be missing something though because I wish I were better able to fit it to the challenge. |

You were obviously trying to say something with this shot, but I am not getting it. Composition wise, the piece of the arm chair in the right-hand corner does not add anything to the shot. Also, the woman probably needs a little more room in the direction she is leaning. I guess hte pillow is a bit singled-out, but insufficiently and I don't understand what for. |

I do not see a crowd... As for the photo, I find the person distracting and I am not sure what you were trying to show with this. |

Um... where is the shallow DOF and the crowd? |

Striking architectural shot but is struggling with the challenge description of finding a person and singling them out with shallow depth of field |
