The more I see of this one, the more I like it! That's a very cool expression, and there's a crispness vs. bokeh thing going on here that appeals. WHAT is she thinking? Is her boyfriend late? Love the reversed whisp of hair also. Bumping you for good luck. |

Nice candid with shallow DOF to isolate the subject, just as the challenge suggested. Good lighting, sharp focus on the subject, overall well done |

There's too much space above her. A tighter crop would make this a more effective photo, even if that means getting rid of the "crowd" behind her (which means it wouldn't literally fit the challenge). The subject herself is interesting and well focused. Just too much background. |

Nice clear image, excellent tones and detail.
Almost seems like she is singled-out as much by distance as minimal depth of field though. (6) |

I like the icy blue look of the photo. Like less the void behind the woman. Would have crop on the right side to give the eye more space. Would also have waited for a less grinnish look. |

Nice use of DOF. Can't say the shot grabs me, though, so I'm not giving it a full mark. |

great focus and lighting. IMHO the center composition hurts this image. it just feels very static to me and when i think of extreme sports i think dynamic. also the guy standing behind her seems to get in the way of the leading line of her looking off the edge of the page at something of interest. perhaps it would have helped if his figure wasn't so defined against the white snow. |
