Dark subject matter, but effective in conveying the message. Good job.

This is not LOVE... You need help!!! Very emotional photo.

After some consideration for this photo, I do not, nor will I ever approve of the topic displayed here, but the photo is fantastic. I am bumping my vote to an 8. I sincerely hope that this is not happening to you nor anyone that you know... Good luck

This is a very moving picture. It's interesting how you can see an imprint on her arm that looks like a watch, but more importantly I like the way you hid her identity as you showed this awful tragedy. The lighting and composition make this picture even more powerful.

Great shot! It conveys a very profound feeling. I hope you do well with it in this forum (which is used to see much milder things).

OMG, I hope that's makeup. You didn't beat her for the ribbon, did you? ;)
What a story-teller. I'm impressed. 10.

WOW - pretty provocative. Effective. I might've called it "signs of abuse, " but not points detracted for that. Love the lighting and the detail. 10

Great picture; it really works within the challenge. Also, good make-up work. Of course, the red is not very "natural," but then I'm sure it's not supposed to "look real," but just emphasize the situation (which it succeeds in doing). Technically, the lighting, composition, etc., are all great. You know what would be teriffic: using selective color. Make it a black-and-white picture, with just the bruises left red. (I understand that you might have been unable to do that for this challenge.) The title, too, works quite well. Great work.
