| I have a broad definition of what meets the challenge, but frankly I think this one DNMC. It's a portrait of a woman, which you've taken in such a way that there is a road in the background - but the road does nothing to enhance the photo; in fact, if anything it detracts, and more importantly has forced you into positioning such that the lighting on the woman is unflattering. Trying to shoehorn this into the Road challenge has let down both yourself and the model. |

| Doesn't do it for me. The eyes are too dark, I can't see into the shadows and connect. |

| Love the red hair and the freckles of your model! This is one of those classic shots that can really tell a different story to each person that views it. I personally see a young girl on the road to womanhood, full of confidence and ready to take on that big city behind her. The flag in the background gives it a very American feel too. Congrats! |
