I gave this a 7. Thought the night sky capture was fairly good. The silhouetting branches added a good element. If overall more clarity, more of a 'quality' type feel (less 'grain'/noise) - difficult - and perhaps a more finely tuned crop, likely have made this even better in my opinion.

Greetings from the Critique Club!

Aesthetic:Ummm...I'm confused. I dont really know what I'm seeing here. I think this is night photo of the sky and drifting clouds have created the pattern. Somehow not very appealing. It took me few minutes to realize what I'm seeing and I'm sure many voters would have missed out on it in few seconds of glance during voting.

Technical: Silhoutte with dark background is not really my piece of cake. I know this might have been difficult shot, but is not a strong composition.

Challenge: Offcoure- Anything would fit into this them. So everything is good here :)

Conclusion: I feel the drifting clouds have created the pattern which is not very applealing. The photo really confuses (the single comments confirms that). I thought of stars to be dust on my screen and after wiping it off I thought it was some problem with camera. It took me long to realize it was stars. I feel the same photo, with some different angle to capture more of branches, taken during twilight or day time might have come out much better.

I did the critique for your "blue" submission and I feel this one is not a full hearted effort ..or maybe its too confusing for the voters (incl me). You have really got some GREAT pictures in your profile and I dont this one fits amongst them.

Wish you a great day!
