I chose this in the random picture thread - I LOVE IT!!! It is so crisp, and I love the selective coloring to singel the dog out. What a great job. I think it was underrated. |

Not crazy about this one but I must compliment the border- Very creative AND effective. A little more saturation of the dog would have helped. 6 |

The challenge description was very specific about singling out a person. |

I'm assuming singled out is the name of the dog?
The idea of this challenge was to isolate a person from a crowd by minimal depth of field. This doesn't meet the challenge in my opinion, nor is there minimal depth of field. (just a lot of field). |

I don't see any DOF isolation (a requirement) here; in fact DOF is infinity in this shot. A quite nice shot otherwise. |

Since the challenge very clearly asked for a PERSON in a crowd, I don't understand why you entered this. But do keep it, it's a very interesting shot for the family album. |

Awwwww. . . .What a sweet dog. A much more appealing model than a human :) |

Great picture, clever interpretation, and clearly laid out in the title. The exposure, contrast and processing are very well done. I think the large range in your DOF is going to hurt you though. |

Interesting shot...the border collie's coloring and your choice of selective de-sat almost makes the dog blend in to the rest of the shot. I like the deep depth of field and the perspective. |

The color seems strange. The selective desat(?) doesn't really work for me. The image is OK, but a bit too busy for my taste. I also strongly dislike titles that are more of a comment about the picture. Sometimes shorter is better. |

HEE HEE - I didn't need that long explanation. Darling image. NOt crazy about the dog being saturated as that which singles her out. The directive said narrow DOF. I'm not really seeing that either. Bummer, cause I do like it. |

I'm fine with not using people (although I decided not to enter my animal image because I knew I'd get clobbered in the comments for it; good luck), but this has a too-overprocessed look for it. With it being the only dog among chickens, he'd have stood out just as well with a bit less manipulation, in my opinion. |
