bokeh is great - lovely motion in the image, which produces a nice juxtaposition with the snail. great work |

Needed the title on this one to really tie it into the challenge, but it's a fantastic shot with great lines. My only little gripe is that the snail's antenna blends right into the edge of the leaf. Great job!!! |

If I were in Las Vegas, I think I would take the under that there would be two photos with snail in them on a road challenge. Both of them are pretty good photos. Great color and detail. The shallow DOF works well to highlight your subject. Well done! |

love how the background, fuzzy as it is, still provides a countering diagonal for the foreground. The snail seems to be at the juncture of forces greater than it can understand. I can relate! 9. |

Pretty good idea - connecting the slow and the fast (roads are menat to be fast). The contrast gives the close-to-nature feeling. |

Very creative. The colors in this picture and the OOF background are great. I really like this. |

I like how the background appears to be one big motion blur - it manages to isolate the subject in a manner true to the title: that is, amidst the torrent of yellows and greens in the background, the sharply-focused snail implies a deliberate, plodding pace. I have a feeling this will be marginalized due to its open interpretation of the challenge, but I like it. Good job. |
