I really like the translucence of the tomato and the spices floating in the background. The bottle distracts from an otherwise great photo

I really like the light shining through the tomato, showing the internal detail. I'd probably have skipped the oil and just concentrated just on the transmitted light.

You did a good job with the composition and lighting, I wanted to really like this photo, but unfortunately, those green specs make me think of fruit flies, ick! instead of oregano or whatever you used, it's probably just me but it looks like we're staring at some rotten maggoty tomato under a microscope. Don't take it the wrong way, I just can't help it.
