I thought this was you, I recognized the glasses from the self-portrait, and the hair, and the look ... but I didn't want to commit myself! Anyway ...

Nude?

Very interesting, and perhaps more a portrait than a nude. Yes, it reveals something of the subject, but more an attitude or lifestyle than just how light falls on body parts. It has... a certain je ne sais quoi, revelaton and mystery together.

Excellent photo, great use of light and shadow but it does not convey the spirit of the challenge imho

Now that's interesting lighting! But it would have been a much more powerful photo as a true nude, without the swimtrunks (with the water ripples, it could still have been PG).

The bright is just too bright for me - I like the look of the arm under the water - wish I could see it better.

Sorry but this does not say NUDE to me. (even if the person might be naked under the water, I can't see since it is too dark)

can't see what's going on... some subtle noise, too

Nice use of light. Did you add some to the background at the top, I see a black bar going horizontally? 8

I like the dramatic lighting and composition. Maybe the top of the head is a bit over-exposed. Good work and good luck in the challenge.

Interesting, intriguing shot with a clever use of light. I don't see a nude here. I think this is well done, but missed the challenge.

loved the lighting on this.. Just enough to see the nude but not enough for detail..

not a real nude in my opinion

unique image. the reflection inthe glasses doesn't work for me - it's too bright against the shadowed face (maybe it was intentional - if so, that wouldn't have been my choice). I like the high contrast and the blown out part where the light hits...it works well with the negative space on the right.

Too dark and too light. The forehead is vastly overexposed, and the rest is just too dark for my taste. Sorry.

Fantastic use of single light source, adding strong focus on the eye. Lovely composition. Unfortunately, I don't feel this image fits in the nude challenge... Nice effort though. 5

I like this image, but I'm not sure how well it suits (no pun intended) the nude challenge. The harsh lighting is very effective as is the mysterious single eyed reflection.

Did you remove the lens from the right side of the glasses? What a great idea this is... Really enhances the "dark to light" effect of the face shot. Great job!
