Thanks for all the comments. The main theme seems to be "not bright enough", and I suppose the fact that I used a 40W reading lamp would account for that :-) I've still got about half the sweets left, so perhaps I'll have another go at some point.

I wish this image was brighter and more colorful, because it has lots of potential. Did you set this up on top of a light?

Some light from behind would really add to the color.

Colorful shot, a bit busy, but colorful. Fun and tasty. Photo 9 Transparency 8 total 9 swash

messy. good lighting. this photo needs fewer colors, or fewer candies, or fewer wrappers, or fewer, oh, I don't know. maybe a lower angle would work well also.

Cool photo and great idea. One thing-I think it would have been a little more effective a little brighter(although, could be my screen :-) ). Good work!

I want the green on on the left! Nice job of getting color and pattern into the shot.

Love the colors--and for some reason it doesn't look cluttered.

Ah, I did this too.. but with starburst hard candies.. It seems you needed more light to filter through the candy, perhaps less candy should have been used. Nice colors and good idea. 5

would more light from underneath showed the colors even better?

EXCELLENT! I love the idea, and the way they capture the light is great. 10..rkymtndream
