| when i saw this photo title in your profile i was excited. i lived in california for the first 10 years of my life in aptos. i remember my mom taking photos of those houses. its a great place to live! |

| This looks like a lovely place. What I like best about the picture is the reflections of the houses in the puddles. I wonder if you could have made more of that? What I like least about the shot are the houses in the background. They are a bit distracting to me. Oh I just scrolled down and read the other comments, so I pretty much agree with Jutilda. You should definitely go back and take more shots, cos this place looks like it has tons of photographic potential. Regards. |

Thanks for your comments...... doing a little happy dance here... and I agree about the cropping.. I am waiting until I get good enough in Pshop... grin.. I got this shot from a high walkway so not a lot I could do about the angle.. when I go back I will check out other access points..... it's in a town called Capitola. about 90 miles south of San Francisco - I have a few other angles of these buildings but didn't get a chance to process them yet

| Great title. The ice cream colors are beautiful. The reflection adds a nice touch as well. I might go ahead and crop so you don't see the "dull" buildings behind. I don't think it would detract at all. Great leading line! |

| maybe -if possible- a lower and a few steps to the right shot would have showed more of the nice colors and would have given a better background |
