Maybe a bit to central and lighting could be more even but meets the challenge well.

Good concept. I would have preferred more even lighting and an off-center layout.

Interesting concept. I haven't seen any euro's yet so it's neet to see some. The coins look very flat against that background. I'm not sure if changing the lighting would help as I'm still learning.

Coolest photo I've ever seen of Euros! You should try using two lights, coming from opposite sides of the subject to give lighting that is more even. Better yet, try this one again using that new Sony! Use a tripod and set your aperature to 8.0 to increase your depth of field. It will require a longer exposure time, hence the tripod. Your arragement is a little too orderly for me. I would rather think of this as a pile of change on your dresser or something, rather than a set up arrangement. Overall, a nice image and I give it a rather high score for merit! JDA2

Might have cropped this one closer and taken it at a higher/planimetric angle, but still a good shot. I especially like the top coin...maybe a severe crop around that one might have been interesting as well.

This photo would be better if the light shone equally on all the coins.

would be nice if the light source focussed on the center and/or illuminated the bottom coins a bit more. but good composition!
