thanks for all the comments, i had several nice shots of single ducks but figured that many people would submit shots like that, So i picked this one because of the color splash and action. hard shot to get with a 500 mm lens and no t-pod camera gets a bit heavy at times.

Very tough shot to get. Great colors and action. If it had been possible, focus on a foreground duck would have greatly increased the appeal. Nice job.7

Interesting concept but my eye isn't drawn to a particular area and the bird that is in focus isn't fully visible.
