Love the silhouette, kinda like a painting. I'm guessing its not scoring well because people can't "see" it but its a really good piece of art

I like the idea of what you are going after.. but to me the bird is lost in the branch...... I would have liked the branch to have been thinner and more delicate in order to emphasize the bird....... good try though

There's a good concept here I think, that just hasn't quite worked. The idea of silhouetting the bird and branch is fine. I think the problem comes from two angles - firstly where the two silhoettes overlap (composition), and secondly the movement of the wings needs to be stopped (focus/exposure) to make this truly work.

The focus is on the branch, which distract from what your main subject should have been (the bird).

it's nice, but just looks really dull...perhaps going to pure b and w and adjusting levels would have improved this
