 Very simple post processing. I spent a considerable amount of time testing out the shot to get it right straight out of the camera. As a result, all I had to do was some slight (very minor) levels adjustment & applied a soft glamour filter from optikverve. Because I wanted the eyes to be super sharp & stand out in the pic, I layered in a copy of the pic before the filter & used a vector mask layer to bring that out on the filtered layer. Finally, I cropped & resized for the web.

Beautiful, mesmerizing picture. Love the softness but the eyes look so crisp. Good use of space. A nice, gentle feel to this picture.

I guess it's just me, but I think that this image would have been stronger if you hadn't softened all of the face but the eyes. That treatment works very well for glamour shots and "flattering" portrait shots, but it seems to me that the unsoftened "truth" is what this image--especially with the title you've given it--needed. The image is still effective, but I think it could have been even more so.
