 Gull was sitting on top of lamppost at the end of the pier.
Did the following in RawShooter:
Adjust whitebalance
Small + exposure compensation (0.04 )
Add small amount of fill light ( 11 )
Add some shadows contrast (12)
Remove some highlight contrast ( -21)
Add vibrance (+8)
Decrease sharpness( -50)

In photoshop, removed noise in the blue channel

Strong is a good choice for the Wildlife Challenge and I am very glad to see you did not just take a shot at a zoo, you should receive points for that alone. I can defiantly tell you were trying to have the focus be the gull and its expression. I think this was a hard shot to take. The blue background in contrast to the white of the bird gives a nice clean image but not much to grab the voters attention. I think some clouds might have enhanced the shot, it just seems a little empty. The beak on the bird also looks a little over blown, possibly the sun was just reflecting off of it at the time but it takes away from the Strong sense. You are defiantly doing great for all the challenges you have entered so far, so I hope to see many more from you!

Nothing really jumps out at me here. I think this pic would benifiy from stronger contrast and better crop.

The highlights look blown to me, and the composition is a bit off. Can't really tell what kind of bird it is.
