 Taken out at Piha beach in NZ... thaught came to me just before i ate the orange that this might make a good photo for the round challenge. Didnt really come out as well as i would have liked but, its Ok.

other than some dark lighting around the left edge-this is AWESOME, like to see more creative photos on DPC. if i would've voted...9

Good idea, but I think the orange would look better with a little softer lighting, although maybe the contrast in textures was what you wanted.

Really neat concept. I like the sunset picture. The orange is a neat foreground and It's neat to see it not silloutted by the sun. The horizon does not seem level however which is a little distracting.

Nice light spectrum on the sun. The flash or the light behind might have wiped out some of the detail on the orange.

i think the inclusion of the orange overdoes it. either one or the other. beautiful sunset, but the orange is simply out of place.

I like the brightness.....seems as though the orange is watching the sunset. This is a very nice clean crisp photo...I like it

compositionally, i'd move the sunset to the middle point between the edge of the orange and the right side of the picture. but nice shot! 4
