I think I would have gone with just the squirrel in the end. Yep, it's hard to loose a precious part of your image, especially when it's so unique to get but the bird is obscured and therefore difficult to include in the story. The light and trexture values are just so good on the squirrel it woul work better

Very cute...the focus looks like it needs to be a little wider so the squirrels face is in focus too. Really cute how the bird is peeking around the rock though. Well caught.
