 I took this picture during winter break on Alacatraz Island... I mean I visted the island, I didn't spend break there. I liked the contrast of how calm and rundown the island seemed to the hectic city life nearby.

Desat.
Burn building.
Cloned out a bit of a branch.
Curves a little.
Auto Levels.

Lame spelling error in the title... it was my french coming out.

Looks like someone was on Alcatraz. Nice image, good colors. Little spelling error in the title (no points off for that - been there, done that). :-)

obviously that's SF in the background... so this must have been taken from the Marin Headlands area... but I have no idea what that building is! this is a refreshing and unusual perspective on a very distinctive skyline.
