 This photo was taken at the country fair. In August. Of 2005. I like the juxtaposition of elements- the blue of the sky, the red of the brick building, the white of the clouds; the linearity of the bricks, the curves and wisps of the clouds.

I don't like the distortion seen in the building- the left edge is vertical, moving right we see that something optically interesting is going on. I would like to say it's how the building was built, but I won't. I opted not to fix it because I just plum didn't want to. If I did I think it would do a lot for the photo though. Use your imagination :)

Found whilst going through 2005 photos for Best of 2005. Decided to use it because I'm still freaking tired being Mr Cough. I vow to get better in a day or two. Maybe in the tropics. Anyone in the south have a spare room? I cook.

God, I love this. The intensity of the blue with those two puffs of white - so vividly displayed. The softness of the natural mixed with the brick building's hard edge - this is perfect juxtaposition.
