Good for a definite giggle, though the rounding on one side looks more pan-based than street-based. I've definitely met days that felt like this looks, though! |

I suppose putting a non-stick coating on a road surface wouldn't be quite practical. Good thing you like them "sunny-side up." Around here, a sidewalk is the preferred frying utensil, but the blacktop will reach a higher temperature. I think you could maybe crop out most of the cars without losing impact. |

I love the concept of this photo, but I am not sure it was executed as well as it could have been. I think you hit the challenge of temperature on the head though. I would have liked to see a lower camera angle on the egg (closer to the road), with the egg being more of the focal point and the DOF beginning to unfocus about 1-2 feet past the egg (the yellow street lines and the cracked pavement would have told the viewer exactly where the shot was taken). The car on the left and the other thing on the right definitely distract from the photo. Just my opinion :) Like I said, this is a great concept and has a lot of potential. |

Nice texture. Good composition. Great idea. |

Bottom of the photo starts off really good, but the cars on the roadside are a little distracting. If they don't contribute to the design, cut them out. |

good idea, the egg looks like its been placed on the pavement well after cooking though with the curled up edges, would've been top notch if you could get it to look like the egg was sizzling somehow, not sure how you'd be able to do that though. |

I like the idea - but it looks rather like you put a fried egg on the road, rather than the road fried the egg. |

Multiple fried eggs...thought about this also...what it needs though is some indication of really being hot...steam coming up from the street would help. thanks |

5.45 so far...you?
Pedro
ps I like your perspective as well; the road in the distance gives it nice depth. |

Since you took the time to cook an egg in the middle of the strips and it appears that your road is in the middle of the picture. I think you should have started the strips in the middle and not to the right. |

Very creative :o) - though wide angle and lower would have looked even better - 8 |

very descriptive setup! the cracks on the asphalt strengthen the expression of intense heat. The slightly burnt egg further expresses this. Too bad I cant vote, or this will get at least an 8 from me. Technically also a good photo with good DOF use. |

Good dof and I like how the lines lead into the picture. I think the egg either needs to be bigger (maybe get closer to it) or further in the frame. |
