Some people asked about the color version and what I did to get the effect on my B&W version.

Shot is RAW converted in PSCS2 to PSD.
I rotated and cropped and converted to B&W using Channel Mixer. that can give you an IR effect if you slide your sliders right. It doesn't work on all images. I was very lucky to have a tunnel of light under the tree. Shot with my Canon 17-40 wide angle. The trees in the BG are olive trees. The sun shining on them gave them a luminescent look and when converted to B&W with CM it gave a glowing feel. The shadows of the tree helped to add to the soft glow and mood. Thanks for looking.

Thanks for posting the original and a description of post processing. Beautiful shot in color and B/W.
