Great shot. I'm impressed with how you did it with a hand-held! Don't know if you can mount an external flash. You might want to try bouncing the flash. It'll create a softer effect and loss the shadow of the lollipop.
Overall, it's a beautiful shot. I like it.

Nice composition, but the lighting seems too harsh and creates too much shadow. Also, your subject's skin appears over-exposed. |

Perhaps a tripod and light-box would be an investment to think about? It's all a bit harsh and attention is distracted away from the lollypop |

the lighting is really harsh here. Looks like a self portrait. try using a tripod and a couple of lights on the side of you or go outside and use natural light. that should help get rid of the shadow. |

Seems a bit over-exposed. The flash is kind of harsh, you might do better with more light and no flash. |
