I wanted to have a little fun with this one, which I think I did. Once again I am my own model, thus the reason my right arm is a little more obvious than I would like (hand held camera).

Despite my arm being there I still like the shot. I know there is a little glare I think as well on the lollypop. However overall I am once again happy. I generally suck at lighting, so its not as bad as it has been in the past.

I used my cameras flash for this shot. Although I had to majorly defuse it with 2 x 4 ply tissue. (Its a very bright flash). Still a little too bright, as the shot was a little washed out, but that was easy to fix with the brightness/contrast tool.

I also neat imaged the shot, which is why the softness. however I like softness on portraits.

My hair is up, to kind of make me look like eating the lollypop has brought me back to my childhood.

Even the tshirt I am earing was on purpose. I wanted a light color to go with the bg, and also to make the subject stand out more.

I hope you enjoy. I am guessing 4.8.

Great shot. I'm impressed with how you did it with a hand-held! Don't know if you can mount an external flash. You might want to try bouncing the flash. It'll create a softer effect and loss the shadow of the lollipop.

Overall, it's a beautiful shot. I like it.

Nice composition, but the lighting seems too harsh and creates too much shadow. Also, your subject's skin appears over-exposed.

Perhaps a tripod and light-box would be an investment to think about? It's all a bit harsh and attention is distracted away from the lollypop

the lighting is really harsh here. Looks like a self portrait. try using a tripod and a couple of lights on the side of you or go outside and use natural light. that should help get rid of the shadow.

Your flash eliminated a good score.

Seems a bit over-exposed. The flash is kind of harsh, you might do better with more light and no flash.
