Yep, Fort Pike...AGAIN.

This is my third challenge here, but I wanted to show what Katrina did to this historic place. The fort is still standing (obviously), but the state park that maintains the site is indefinitely closed.

The storm surge topped the 20ft walls and flooded the corridors with mud and sea grass. The grass is 4 feet deep in some places.

This is just such a cool place. Your shots make me want to explore it - those arched doorways and the bright light pouring through the windows are so inviting. Great capture.

hmm, great capture, but could perhaps use some more contrast and sharpness? maybe it could go b/w as well? just ideas :)
