Challenge: Blue II (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Canon EOS-1D Mark II
Lens: Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX Aspherical DF for Canon
Location: studio
Date: Jan 31, 2006
Aperture: 32
ISO: 500
Shutter: 250
Date Uploaded: Jan 31, 2006

I really wish I could have cloned out some of the drops and little black spots, but rules are rules. I also wish I could have stopped the motion better, but I couldn't make the shutter any faster nor could I make the strobe any faster and I shot at iso 500. So I was really limited with my equipment. When I did something similar with a 4x5 camera I was able to stop the motion better with shutter speed. Oh well, hopefully peeps won't beat it down too much.

Shame that the splash is out of focus, I like the idea.

If you are going to try and capture a splash you need to be sure its in focus.

Awesome capture. My pictures NEVER turn out when I try something like this. I finally gave up and decided to give extra points to anyone who can pull it off! Kudos!

shutter speed was too long, edge of glass plate is distracting
