Hmmmmmmmmmm seems my comments were cut off. What I had wanted to say was that I truly liked this shot.

Unlike some who found the image "boring", I found the simplicity simply stunning. Taking a photo of a pristine venue and getting the audience to share your love of the image is, in most instances a relatively easy task.

What you have done here is take a very ordinary item, and display it in a striking manner.

This was one of my favorite photos in the competition, and well deserving the placement it got.

The very best to you in your future endeavours.

what's there is great, but it needs something at the bottom! there's a thin line there that looks like it wants to be something... and I want it to be something... but it's not. The blues and whites are very well rendered here - the lighting is good and the picture is sharp - it's just that to my eye, it's compositionally unbalanced.

Great technically, but couldn't you have found something more interesting to point your camera at? Had to still give you a good score for technical merit tho.
