I think the red is quite nice, but the bright ribbon and the dark glass lack a lot. The ring is lost in the midst of so many things, it's difficult for me to see it. And, once I see it, it doesn't strike me as a ring of proposal. So, I think this photo didn't do much technically, while the story is missing completely.
One observation: at photographer's comments it's mentioned a glass and a wedding ring, but the first thing I see is the ribbon. |

| How is star anise, pinecones, cheap gold ribbon and a ring suspended in some read liquid a proposal? Don't really see the romance here? |
