Such clarity and texture. This should've beat me and if I could change the scores I would! |

I like the mood here. Soft yet sharp enough at the same time. The only negative I have is the green leaves make the photo a little busy at the bottom. I much rather see just the stem and the two hands. |

B&W is often used to highlight the textures in an image, but you appear to have used NeatImage or something similar to scrub all of the detail off. I think that this would have been a stronger entry by either leaving it in color or not using NI on a B&W image. The position of the hands is well done. Somehow the background feels too empty; some nice bokeh might have added a little kick to the visual impact. |

Very clean and even - I like the pristine feeling - fresh new love. The lighting is very even, perhaps a little bland in that it does not define the textures here distinctly - but it does give a soft effect. I think I might like to see a bit more contrast. Also all that empty space in the upper right corner is a little distracting - having the hand come down from there might fill the space better. Nice focus. |

I think I'd have liked a bit more contrast in this picture, but the "soft" thing goes well with romance, as well. Good job. |

Nice job on the B/W conversion but I have a nagging feeling I still would have liked this better in colour but I like this, got an 6 from me. |

I like the flatness and clarity of this, as well as the contrast between the ring and the rose. |

What great tones in this photo! I wish there were some true blacks in the shadows, but I'll still give you a 10.
(PS: I calibrate my monitor) |
