Post Challenge:
Zero comments, I guess it's too boring. Here's my 'criticism' ... mainly the background, including cut/crop area on leaves does not enhance the image.

The title is because 'it' looked like 'it' was getting ready to start a race.

Any honest criticism/feedack appreciated, even if to say 'boring'.

Zero comments:-( Wonder how often that happens.

Well, here is mine. I like the picture, but there are a couple of things that may have helped. Composition is good, as well as the lighting, exposure and contrast. What I think it needs, is a slight boost in color saturation. I also think the focus on the bud is a bit soft, so I just wonder if the sharp focus were on the bud instead of the leaves below how it would have done. The last thing is that the leaf that makes it look like it is sticking its tongue out is a bit distracting, wonder if you could have cloned it out. Hope this helps:-)
