 Shot on the Southside of the UC Berkeley campus, roughly between Kroeber and Boalt Halls, looking past Hertz Hall towards the Campanile (Sather Tower). I happened upon this fairly "quiet" view somewhat accidentally (where I found a parking space). My planned options included looking down the hill, to put the Golden Gate Bridge/SF skyline/etc. in the background, or from Sproul Plaza northward to also include Sather Gate. I decided both of those might look too cluttered, and would make the background more the subject than the head.

Lol, very creative. I like the perspective a lot. Did you try this with a wider aperture? I'm wondering how it would look with the tower and background more out of focus / less depth of field

I love seeing things like this. Art I have never seen before and have no idea where it is. Very interesting and intriguing. Good "transparency" catch!

good work! you actually took a good photo and it fits the challenge well. it would have been good if we could see more blue sky rather than the hat thing through the head.
