Naturally set shots like this don't do well at DPC. It requires a bit of thought and doesn't contain a lot of WOW. I like this and scored it an 8. I would bet money this was "carved" out, unless there was a cliff and an old stream bed right there. Compositionally, this is fine. I might have tried a steeper angle, or moved around to catch different reflections in the water. Splashing the water might have created some fun effects, but I can't think of a way without putting stones into the pond...probably not a good idea. Rob |

I would enjoy seeing more information. Like some background or foreground or even something within the pool that would hold my attention. |

West nile hazard, lol. You should have cleaned the middle out, I think that would have made the photo better. |
