My "supposedly" entry to the "Your Shadow" challenge.

This image was shot at the vacant raw space adjacent to our suite. The columns you see on the left are covered with fireproofing hence the texture.

Setup was easy but kinda tricky since I only had my P&S. I used one MR16 halogen lamp to light the room and cast shadows. Cut out nose and claws using manila folders. Since I didn't have a trench coat, I resorted in using display fabric in our office to create the illusion of length. You can actually see the frays in the fabric ;) Added some extra fabric samples on the back to create the hump.

Since I didn't have a tripod, I let the P&S rest on a couple of books on top of a small little step stool. Set the timer and off I went.

Added noise to create that old time movie feel to it. But then...

Damn! I should have checked the camera date on my little P&S.

I asked one of my co-workers to help me out on this shoot. Too bad he left early or else I would have shot this image again. I edited the image and everything and when I started filling out the EXIF information, lo and behold, the date was set to 02/06/06!

Crap! Well now it's part of my portfolio. What do you think? This is a tribute to the 1922 film.

Good luck to the entrants.

That's a great shot Rikki.
Stupid exif date time stamp thing!!!!!

The only thing I don't like is the head/hair/cap thing---because it looks as though he's wearing a baseball cap and I'm sure Nosferatu didn't.
Or did he?
Hmmmm, maybe he was a Yankees fan or something?

sorta looks like a short guy with a baseball hat. Nosferatu has some happenin' shoes too. :)

I like it though. There is another nosferatu entry though. It would have been like showing up at the prom in the same dress...
