Broken - definitely. Composition and focus are fair. An interesting or appealing image - no, I'm sorry not at all.

I can see that you've interpreted the theme but there doesn't seem to be any story behind this - other that the title suggesting something. Perhaps you could have had a single broken pot amongst a set of live pots to set off the contrast more.
