just a bit too much blur, no real point of focus and a little messy in the composition

The panning is there, but the subject cluttered frame take away from the 'tracked' subject. I know this is hard, so good points for panning.

Whilst I don't believe the subject has to be perfectly 'stopped' relative to the background for these to work, your subject still shows just a little too much motion for this shot to work. IMO of course.
