 This shot was captured on an early morning walk along the beach.. the side lights combined with shells and sand made for an interesting shot.. By selecting a large aperture a was able to draw better focus to the the broken bottle...

Minor adjustments to levels in photoshop and saturation in photoshop..

the dof is bluring out the broken part im assuming... I would have liked to see that portion of the bottle

The bottle should have been captured from another angle. From this angle it dosent look to "broken".

I think a different angle may have been better. I would have liked the top and bottom a little more clear.

I was wondering if a different depth of field would have changed my vote a bit. The only part that appears in focus is the very tip of the bottle. I could only give a 5.

Oh I do love shallow DOF and low down perspectives and this has both! Nice composition with bottle rim off centre. Some detail in the shells. Interesting.
