Live and learn! Atleast now I know what panning is :( |

Beautiful shot! Worthy of the wall for sure, however, it DNMC. Sorry. Adding to my favorites though :) |

beautiful picture, but it doesn't seem to fit with the theme |

beautiful image, no panning detected, though |

Nice photo, just can't see the motion panning. |

Gorgeous picture of the GG Bridge. I like the angle that this was shot from. |

How is this motion panning? Would be much higher score otherwise. |

A gorgeous picture, but it's not what the contest was asking for...sorry, bad luck! |

this is probably pointless to say, but it doesnt meet the challenge. otherwise nice photo. |

02/11/2006 10:16:46 AM |
nice photo, but to fit in with challenge, maybe zoom in a bit to highlight the motion, and it might just be me, but something doesn't look right about the orientation, maybe a little tilt, or curving of the pillar? |
02/11/2006 08:48:45 AM |
Pretty, but I think it misses the point of the challenge. |

That is a beautiful photo, however motion panning isn't used to achieve the effect. I like the soft colours and the sharpness of the image though. |

Motion blur but not really panning. Lovely image |

Gorgeous motion shot. No panning, though. Panning involves a following a moving subject with the camera, so that the subject is sharp, and stationary objects are blurred. This shot (while very, very attractive, and probably a high scorer in a different challenge) has the opposite effect. |

Well, this is going to be one of the most beautiful sub-four scores in a while. Great shot, but this isn't motion pan at all... |

That is not motion panning to me. 4 |

I do not see any evidence of panning. |

Sorry but this image DNMC |
02/09/2006 04:47:55 PM |
I dont see tha panning... even though the cars are moving on the bridge, the motion panning is not respected here. |
02/09/2006 03:59:18 PM |
I like it, but the subject isn't moving. |
02/09/2006 01:38:33 PM |
Sorry, but there is no panning in this shot. |

02/09/2006 11:24:25 AM |
Beautiful picture but this is not motion panning, it is merely a time exposure. Ill give you a 5 because I like the picture. If the title of the challenge were "bridges" then I'd give you a 9. |

This is the opposite case.

very nice photo, but it doesn't fit for this challenge. |

The picture is really nice, i like it, but do not see any panning effect here. |
02/08/2006 10:14:34 PM |
I don't really see any motion panning going on here. I see a long shutter speed with long light trails but I don't think that this fits the challenge at hand. |
02/08/2006 09:54:47 PM |
This is a great shot, but it doesn't meet the challenge. |
02/08/2006 09:04:54 PM |
I don't see the motion panning. The cars are obviously moving but did you pan? |
02/08/2006 08:51:00 PM |
Great picture I really like it!! But I don't think that it is right for this challenge. |

I am having a hard time figuring out how you did this using motion panning .. if you did you are far more clever than I .. cos I tried over 60 shots and got three to work .. and none looked anything like this. |

02/08/2006 10:42:55 AM |
Shots off a tripod are not considered panning, like the shot but not appropriate for this challenge |

You may want to re-read the challenge description. |

Superb photo... but not quite 'motion panning' in my books. |

02/08/2006 08:45:23 AM |
Motion blur, not motion panning |
02/08/2006 07:52:12 AM |
Nice pic and all, but not for this challenge. What was the subject that you followed your camera with to created the effect of motion panning? |
02/08/2006 07:47:37 AM |
Don't see any motion panning... right? |
02/08/2006 01:35:38 AM |
Beautiful pic, but I honestly don't think it fits as motion panning. |
