I love this majestic bird,,,,, but fail to see the blur motion panning would create

Great job on the photo I was going to do something like this but I could'nt get the background close enough to show the blur.

Background movement is not evident. It is a great shot of the eagle

I expect this picture makes use of shallow DOF and a high shutter speed. For motion panning the shutter speed needs to be lower so the background blurs.

nice bald eagle in flight - might benefit from being cropped a little more, but i love it

great capture, but not enough motion blur of the background to meet the challenge.

Good use of depth of field, but doesn't do a good job of demonstrating motion blur, I'm afraid.

Nice pic, but it would look better if more of the bird were shown.

Too much space. Try to zoom in next time.

I can hardly see motion blur here. You should have used longer expo time.

Good capture, but it lacks motion.

Nice bald eagle shot. However background blur seems to be more from DOF than from motion panning. A slower shutter speed and clearer demonstration of motion panning effect would fit the challenge better.

To me this is not motion panning

A great picture. But as the subject was panning, I would have tried with a lower shutter speed.

A good looking shot - reasonably sharp on the eagle. Would have been better closer in and unfortunately the colourful items on the cliff underneath the bird take the attention away slightly

I may be wrong, but to me your blurred background looks more of a result of DOF rather than panning.

needs slower shutter speed to create motion panning blur... nice shot though.
