This was so hard to do! It was a slightly windy day, and the two balloons kept bopping this way and that, and twisting around themselves and each other. It was pretty much impossible to predict where they would go.

We had them on the end of a fishing rod, and my husband patiently let them go and reeled them back in again..... over and over.
Getting a truck/car/bike etc would have been WAY easier!
Good thing was that I also got my abstract submission from this outing, and I really love THAT one!
Nothing exciting to tell re PS, just the usual tweaks here and there.

Interesting, the only vertical pan I've seen yet.

interesting take on the challenge. I think this would have been much more effective with plain single color balloons that matched the backround. The blue in the bottom of the frame is distracting and the combination of green, blue, red and purple is unattractive.

nice image, think this might be the one and only vertical panned shot, good idea and good subject for the vertical pan.

Great idea. The only thing bugging me is the purple baloon. (8 and good luck!)

Oh I love this. The stripes of vertical color caused by the motion is wonderful. 9

Clever / original idea for this challenge. Nice blur of the background. Just wish the purple balloon appeared as crisp as the red one does.

What a cool idea to pan vertically rather than horizontally.
