The contrast is possibly a tad to rich yet, as is, a very nice pattern is borne which has its own flavor. Bumping up.

I love visible depth-of-field, but I think in this shot it might be a little distracting.

Picture is ok but long explaining title not so good. Just go with what ya got :)

Well, I think it is very nice, and I'll take your broken branch over a broken egg any day. :)

There is great focus on the center of the truck, a much tighter crop may have done this image justice.

Intersting angle for this shot. The title is a bit excessive though.

I'd agree - you could have been more imaginative here.

Oh don't say too simple! I love this. Sometimes when things are over-thought they look that way. You nailed this with something really natural. I like the composition a lot too, esp. the branches across the back. The fact that they lead into the focal point helps to keep the image from bouncing all over the place. There is a lot to look at, but you managed to lock me in to what you wanted me to see. Success!

I like simple ... :) seems to have the following: Thirds and leading lines .. not bad for simple.

Hi, IMO a more angled shot would get some of the texture of the break, along with a line to lead a viewer into the shot.

...actually...I don't think it's simple enough...

Simple isn't always bad, but I think you need to recompose this shot. The part of it that is closest to us is really out of focus and those out of focus roots going up to the right don't add much to the picture either. I'd either re-shoot this or crop it more tightly.
