Great capture. You've got the head sharp whilst everything else is in motion, not as easy as it looks that's for sure

i like the shot for the challenge because there is some motion... but there seems to be a slight lack of sharpness to it, and maybe the sun is just a bit to intense, and the bottom is cropped off a bit early.

Nice capture. Slightly slower shutter speed would be better for more motion panning blur to clearly show that you met the challenge, tough call as it makes it sharpness even more difficult, as if birding weren't hard enough!

Nice choice of subject. It's hard to avoid blowing highlights at the slow shutter speeds needed for this type of effect, especially if there's going to be any nice bright color in the photo at all. I'd like to have seen the bird's feet, too, but I know that with wildlife you usually just have to take what you get and be glad of it. :)

A little slower shutter speed would blur the background more and increase the feeling of speed.

It reminds me of the place I used to live.. White cranelike birds everywhere.. Definately a ten!

tough to expose correctly during the day with a slower shutter speed. but that doesn't bother me.
