it doesn't look like motion panning was used in this shot. A pity as I really like the picture

Bubbleman is standing pretty still. For this to be a motion panning shot, Bubbleman would have to have been moving. Also, my eye keeps being drawn to the sharpest part of the picture, which looks to be the lwoman standing behind Bubbleman to his right.

Motion Panning. . . You've actualy got to move the camera while the shutter is open.

Seems more like a long exposure than a panning shot.

I don't get a sense of panning. It looks more like you've caught people moving past as you hold the camera still.

Seems like an interesting seen. There's no real panning, and it would be better with brighter levels.

Nice enough pic but I don't see how this is motion panning when the background is reasonably well focussed. Looks more like a slow shutter speed with other people moving.
